Kids love eating pancakes for breakfast. There are numerous ways in which you can serve it to them. Pancakes can be made plain and various different toppings can be added to them. However, the kids can also take part in the making of pancakes. This will help them build skills and make family memories. They can mix all the ingredients together and parents can oversee the cooking part that involves the use of a pan. Guide your kids later to flip the pancakes as well. This excites them even more!
Ingredients:-

1 ½ cups of flour

1 tablespoon of baking powder

1 tablespoon of sugar

A pinch of salt

1 tsp of vanilla extract

1 ½ tablespoon of butter (unsalted and at room temperature)

1 cup of milk

1 no. of egg (large)

Butter for greasing
Method:-

Gather all the ingredients together. In a large mixing bowl, put all the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt) and make a well in the middle.

In that well, put all the wet ingredients (egg, vanilla extract, milk, and soft butter). You can also put the butter in a small bowl and microwave for 30-50 seconds till it melts.

Now, slowly mix all the ingredients in the well with a whisk. You can also use an electric mixer with adult supervision. Use a spatula or a spoon for mixing anything that sticks to the bowl.

Put some butter in a non-stick pan at a medium or low flame.

Using a ladle, pour one ladle of batter on the pan. When the pancake is filled with small bubbles, flip it with a spatula.

Cook the other side for 30-40 seconds and serve it on a plate.

Serve the pancake with your choice of topping.
You can use whipped cream, fresh fruit, honey, maple syrup, chocolate syrup, or simply peanut butter as the topping of your pancakes.
